Sales Return and Refund Policy

Dashboard Devices  is committed to providing the highest quality products and customer service to our customers. If you have any problem with our product at all, please write to us or email us and we will rectify the problem in accordance with our guidelines below.

Have you received a faulty product?

If you receive a defective or faulty item, Dashboard Devices will repair or replace the item(s) at our sole discretion.

This is subject to:

  • Notify us in writing within thirty (30) days of the purchase date of the product and outline the problem to us;
  • The product(s) having been used in an appropriate manner and as prescribed in the operating instructions (if any);
  • You return the product(s) to us within five (5) days from the date a return merchandise authorization (RMA) has been issued to you; and
  • We are satisfied that such defect or fault exists and has not been caused by misuse, neglect, accident, improper storing, installation or mishandling or by repair or alteration not carried out by us.

Any damage or loss to either the product(s), packaging or the documentation may affect the credit issued to you. We do not accept liability for parcels damaged during transit so we advise you to secure and insure the product(s) adequately to prevent this happening.

Ordered or received the wrong product?

You have ten (10) days from the purchase date of your product to cancel your order should you wish to do so (with exception of Custom and Modified Stock Items, see those terms below).  If you wish to cancel your order,

  • You must notify us in writing, ten (10) days from your purchase of the product(s)
  • You must return the product(s) to us within five (5) days of the issuance of your return merchandise authorization; and
  • The returned product(s) must be in it’s original condition, with original packing and documentation.

We will then issue you a refund minus a 15% restocking fee.

Is your purchase a Custom Order ?

If your purchase is a custom or modified stock order there will be NO cash-back refund offered and no ten (10) day policy for refund or replacement product.

If the custom or modified product is faulty the same thirty (30) day repair or replacement policy as with a traditional order will be extended to you.

When you return a product.

When you notify us in writing of any request for return, and have followed the instructions above, Dashboard Devices will issue you a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA).

Please ensure that you include the following details with all returns:

  • Your name, address, contact telephone number and e-mail address;
  • Your Dashboard Devices order / reference number / RMA; and
  • Reason for the return.
